Sector & Equity Update: Metals and Capstone

Posted by nexvucapital on November 16, 2013

Markets present patterns over time for those who look beyond today’s price. Case in point, our favourite metal stock – Capstone Mining which has built an interesting pattern over the past 8 years. The secular up-trend is governed by the secondary highs and lows in the stock price while the optimal entry and exit points occur when the stock price creates a spike beneath or below this secular trend. The stock is currently reflecting the Summer/Fall transition toward cyclicals as the global economic recovery gains traction outside the USA. Based on this pattern we suspect the next high will exceed the high of 2011 which exceeded the high of 2008 and the fundamentals support this outcome.
