When Fear Turns to Greed Copper Turns to Gold

We wish to pass on a simple item – not all metals are made equally. The following chart is almost elegant in its symmetry as the forces of fear and greed battle for supremacy in the copper market. Each phase of recovery off the 2011 lows in copper has been less volatile but each of these phases fits an almost identical pattern. The overall trend is higher lows. As the Bollinger Bands begin to squeeze and the Moving Averages come together copper is building energy for a major move.
