US Energy Competitiveness

Well rather than endure a further 24 hours of mind-numbing debate on the Fiscal Bluff, we decided to look at another interesting positive for the US economy…the growing spread between the WTI oil price and the Brent oil price. If this continues, it presents a formidable competitive edge for the US economy. And, if the US can achieve energy self-sufficiency it will also be in the enviable position of being able to profit from this spread. On a side note, maybe all that corn can then be used as food again…?
